The countries I have traveled to outside of the United States are Thailand, Costa Rica, Mexico and Canada.\u00a0 I have also been to Hawaii several times.\u00a0 Here are all my photos and the details from the travels since 2003:<\/p>\n

To celebrate my 50th birthday and to DJ at a friends full moon party I went to Thailand in April 2003.\u00a0 I flew into Bangkok spent the night and then flew to Koh Samui and took at boat to Koh Phangan where they have the famous full moon parties.\u00a0 I ran into Laurie a friend from San Francisco on the beach and we rented a little beach house together.\u00a0\u00a0 Laurie and I made friends with 10 people from San Francisco that were staying at the same resort.<\/p>\n

I went to “The Sanctuary<\/a>” resort\u00a0 and did a 4 day fast, colon cleansing, got a Swedish and Thai massages, and did yoga every day outside in the jungle.<\/p>\n

I went back to Bankok and took a tour of the Grand Palace<\/a>, the floating market<\/a>, and the Chatuchak <\/a>weekend market.<\/p>\n

\nIn January 2004, I went to Sayulita Mexico for the first time to see Primo.\u00a0 I meet Primo in August 2003 at the Reggae on the River Festival.\u00a0 We fell in love and spent the weekend together.\u00a0 He was staying with a friend in the mountains near Garberville.\u00a0 He was painting his friends houses.\u00a0 When he finished the job he came to Mill Valley and stayed with me for a couple weeks.\u00a0 Then he went back to Mexico.\u00a0\u00a0 He stayed in Mexico for six months and then came to live with me in Kensington.<\/p>\n

\nIn May 2004, I went to Costa Rica.\u00a0 I flew into San Jose spent the night then I drove to Playa Grande stayed there for a few days.\u00a0 A friends showed me around Rinc\u00f3n de la Vieja Volcano<\/a> National Park.\u00a0 We hiked to a beautiful waterfall.\u00a0 I drove to Arenal Volcano National Park<\/a>\u00a0 and also went to Manuel Antonio National Park<\/a>.\u00a0 I loved seeing all the monkeys in the trees and the beautiful beaches and jungles.<\/p>\n

\nIn May 2005, I went to Mexico again with Primo for our honeymoon.\u00a0 We went to these towns:\u00a0 Sayulita, Puerto Vallerta, Guadalajara, Guanajunato, San Miguel de Allende, Lake Chapala, Yelapa<\/p>\n

In March 2006, I went to the Big Island of Hawaii for a Burning Man regional burn called Rebirth and to visit Primo’s nephew and his wife.\u00a0 I stayed at Kalani<\/a> resort and got to dance at several outdoor parties.\u00a0 I drove around the island in a jeep with the top down.\u00a0 I meet a lot of people from San Francisco there and hung out with friends I already knew from Burning Man Festival.<\/p>\n

In July 2006, Primo and I went to Canada for two weeks.\u00a0 We drove up the coast and went to Olympia National Park and camped along the way and relaxed at Sol Duck hot springs.\u00a0 From there we took a ferry to Victoria.\u00a0 When we go to Canada they took all of our things out of our car and searched every inch.\u00a0 We had to put it all back by ourselves.\u00a0 We went to a music festival in Victoria and spent a couple days exploring the town.\u00a0 We drove to Whistler Blackcomb ski resort.\u00a0 We drove to the end of\u00a0 Vancouver Island and took a ferry to Vancouver and camped at another hot springs where there was a sand castle contest.<\/p>\n

I went to Mexico in December 15, 2007 until January 6, 2008 to spend Christmas, New Years and our wedding anniversary with Primo.\u00a0 We stayed in Sayulita, Tepic, San Blas and Puerto Vallerta.\u00a0 We had a lot of fun on this trip.\u00a0 Primo introduced me to many of his friends that live in Tepic and own several vegetarian restaurants.\u00a0 We ate at all of them.<\/p>\n

In February 2007, I took my family (Brian, Jen, Mark and Gloria) to the Big Island of Hawaii to celebrate my mom’s 80th birthday.\u00a0 We rented a condo in Kona and spent a week exploring the island.\u00a0 Jen and Mark got engaged while we were there.<\/p>\n

I went to Costa Rica with my son Brian on October 10 – 20, 2008 to celebrate his birthday.\u00a0 We flew into San Jose and rented a Toyota Rav 4 wheel drive.\u00a0 We stayed at the Country Inns & Suites<\/a>.\u00a0 Then we drove to Puerto Limon and stayed at Hotel Playa Westfalia<\/a>.\u00a0 We went to this sloth sanctuary<\/a>.\u00a0 We took a boat to Tortuguero National Park<\/a>\u00a0 we stayed at Tortuga Lodge & Gardens<\/a> resort and had the resort to ourselves.\u00a0 The lodge gave us a guide and he gave us a private tour of the national park.\u00a0 At night during a full moon we saw sea turtles laying eggs in their nests in the sand and we saw baby sea turtles running to the sea.\u00a0 We went\u00a0Arenal Volcano<\/a>\u00a0 and stayed in the Arenal Observation Lodge<\/a> and went in Tabacon hot springs<\/a> and Bali hot springs<\/a>.\u00a0 We hiked around Monteverde Cloud Forest<\/a> and stayed at Monteverde Lodge.<\/a><\/p>\n

In February 2011, I meet up with Primo in Sayulita, Mexico.\u00a0 Our friend has a beautiful house up on a steep hill a couple blocks from the beach.\u00a0 He lets us stay there when ever we are in town.\u00a0 We had the whole house to ourselves.\u00a0 Primo knows a lot of people that live in Sayulita.\u00a0 He has been going there in the winter for over 40 years.\u00a0 Everywhere we go people stop to talk.\u00a0 It is warm and sunny everyday in the winter.\u00a0 We have friends from Canada that own a bar so we spend time with them at night.<\/p>\n

On November 2 -9, 2013, Primo and I went to Sayulita Mexico and stayed at our friends beach house.\u00a0 Primo’s nephew and his girlfriend joined us the first weekend.\u00a0\u00a0 Other friends from Jococtepec joined us the second weekend.\u00a0 We got to see hundreds of baby sea turtles hatch and run to the sea.<\/p>\n
